Blogspot, the elusive, the mysterious

So, I've seen this website around for a long time, but really never wanted to try it. Especially blogging, that's something I just don't find appealing. It's like enabling people to write a novel about themselves and what they're thinking, instead of wisely limiting them to the short margin and character limit Facebook's status updates are set to (thank goodness).
But I figure, hey, it's a good way to update people on my life and keep an online post documenting my last few weeks here in texas, before I leave to serve my mission in the Arizona Mesa mission. After I leave for the MTC (my arrival date is the 18th of august, ps) my family (most likely my sister kelsey, as she's already a beast at blogspot) will keep this page updated with letters and stuff I write to them.

So, here's to assuming you all want to hear what's going on in my life as I vainly type away the contents of it!
haha. stay rad.

Brady

Food for thought: When talking about mission locations, especially stateside, people say the name of the state, followed by the main city you're serving in. i.e. the Arizona Mesa mission. The California Carlsbad mission. The Nevada Las Vegas mission. Why is that?
